UNT Graduation Photos at Golden Hour & Night | University of North Texas Senior Portraits
Emma booked me for her University of North Texas graduation portraits, and I’m obsessed with how these turned out! We shot during golden hour and into blue hour to capture both that dreamy sunset light and the glowing campus landmarks at night.
She brought two perfect outfits: a classic white dress and a deep green jumpsuit. Not only did these looks match UNT’s school colors, but they also gave her session variety and personality. The white dress popped beautifully against the brick and columns of the Library Mall, while the green jumpsuit blended seamlessly with UNT’s iconic sign at night.
We made sure to stop at some of the best graduation photo spots on campus:
The Library Mall – where the light pours in through the trees during golden hour.
The Admin Building – always a must for its classic UNT architecture.
The Union rooftop – amazing views and a modern backdrop.
The Business building steps – clean, bright lines for timeless photos.
The UNT sign at Joe Greene Hall – glowing green at night, the perfect grand finale.
I love starting sessions at Library Mall and ending at the UNT sign. That flow means we capture golden hour’s warm tones first, then transition into night shots where the colors of campus really pop! Emma nailed her styling and brought so much confidence to the shoot.
✨ Styling Tip for College Graduation Sessions: Bring 2–3 outfits that complement your school’s colors or keep it classic with neutrals. Dresses, jumpsuits, and heels always elevate your look, but don’t forget comfort for walking between locations! Think about how your gown and cords will layer on top of your outfit so the whole look feels cohesive.
If you’re graduating soon and want portraits that feel true-to-you and highlight your campus, let’s make it happen! 🎓💚
